Paneer Sandwich

New year has begun with all its furore... lots of hopes... resolutions...
With a Silent determination to achieve most of them..
Wish u all  a yummy... Healthy...and Happy Year ahead...

So, Day before Yesterday.. I got busy with some work n  forgot to boil the milk. Result:  I decided to make paneer out of it. Then throughout the day, I munch upon the idea what to do with that. I had three option to go for. The easiest one was to use it to feed my sweet tooth. But eventually I tried it on my breakfast platter. It turned out well... N I decide to put it on my blog.. The only glitch...I forgot to take a pic.

U will Need: 3 tbsp paneer, 1 small onion (peeled and chopped finely), 1-2 green chilly
(finely chopped),  1 tspn red chilli powder, a pinch of garam-masala powder,
1 tspn black-pepper, 1 tbspn finely chopped ginger,1 tbspn finely chopped fresh
coriander leaves, 8 pieces of Bread, Butter, and salt to taste

Its the easiest , quickest and one of the yummiest sandwich (if u have paneer on hand). Mix all the ingredients with paneer, except Bread and Butter. Now Spread the mixture evenly on  a bread. Cover it with another bread. With the above measurements, u can easily prepare four such sandwich. Now, pre-heat the sandwich -toaster. Butter both the sides of Bread-sandwich. Toast it in the sandwich-toaster. Serve it with any sauce.. Chutney of our likes or availability. It's a healthy option for a morning breakfast.
In case u dont have a sandwich-toaster... no worries. Heat a tawa. With the help of butter toast the sandwich on both sides. Please do remember to keep the flame at its minimum. This tawa-toasting  takes a bit longer time. But try it n it really works..

Tip of The Day: When I was a kid, my mom used to do this with paneer whenever it was a
home-made and little in quantity. I like it and even now I savour it whenever I get a                          chance. It's a miss n blink recipe. Mix paneer and sugar in the ratio 2:1.
Its ready to eat with chapati or plain paratha.
