No point in saying that, it has been a very very long time. I always say that I will be here now and then but has nt done so...
So, Better lets get started..
U will Need: 300 gm bhindi, 1 medium onion (peeled), 1 medium tomato (chopped),
2 green chilli, 1-2 tspn jeera, 1 tbspn oil, 1 tspn turmeric powder,
2 tspn red chilli powder, salt to taste.
Wash bhindi n let it dry. Cut onion in four equal parts n then chop (not lengthwise). Chop bhindi , each piece being half inch or a bit longer than that(less than a inch). Cut Green chilli midway n then slit in half.
Heat pan. Add Oil. Once heated, add jeera n Green chillies.
Add Bhindi. Saute it for 30 seconds. Add onion. Keep the flame low.
Saute for a while, say 5-7 minutes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder. Mix well.
Add Tomato. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add salt.
Cook 2-3 minutes more n u r done.
Note: I used dry red chilli instead of green chillies this time. Suit urself as ur preference.
Tip Of the Day: Let bhindi dry completely, after washing.
If water remains, it will become sticky.
Also, do not cover the pan, while cooking.
Best taste with phulke/chapati.
