Mix Daal with palak

Hey,I got myself a JMG(yeah,my half-life kept his words).That means I can try my hands on a lot more foods,especially vegetables.
Today,this post is about daal,my 1st post in this section. All of you will find my recipe easy to cook & healthier too,as it contains 4 types of daal & no spices.It looks so yummy,I wish I cud post a pic right now.


U will need: 1tbspn chana daal, 2 tbspn arhar ki daal, 2 tbspn dhuli moong daal, 1 tbspn laal masoor ki daal,1 cup washed & finely chopped palak leaves,1 large tomato washed & finely chopped,1 medium onion peeled & finely chopped ,1 green chilli chopped lengthwise,desi ghee,1tspn jeera,1 tspn turmeric powder,salt to taste,1/4 cup coriander leaves.

Soak all daal together for 15 minutes. Add daal,palak leaves & water in a pressure cooker.Add salt & turmeric powder.Cook on medium flame for 15 minutes or till all daal is properly cooked.
Now heat a kadai. Add desi ghee. Add jeera. When it crackles,add onion. When onion turns brown,add tomato. Add chilli. Cook for 2 minutes.
Mash cooked daal a little. Pour daal in the pan. Keep the flame low. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Switch off the Stove. Keep coriander leaves in a serving bowl. pour daal in it. You are ready to serve.

Tip of the Day: Try to use fresh palak leaves, coriander leaves & fresh tomato.
Also u can change amount of 4 daal according to your taste.
